$200,000 Anonymous Donation Made to Crossroads Scholarship for WHHS Students

Kyle Gilliland, Principal at White House High School, announced that an anonymous donor has given $200,000 to the Crossroads Scholarship. Gilliland said “the remarkable act of generosity will have a lasting impact on our community and the students at White House High School.” He said this donation can open more doors for students who have worked hard, but may not have the financial means to continue their education.

The Crossroads Scholarship was established by family members of Odell and Esterlene Starks. Since its founding, the organization has awarded scholarships to dozens of White House High School seniors. This new donation will allow the nonprofit to expand both the number and size of scholarships. This past year, six (6) scholarships were awarded to White House High School students. The goal is the build the fund to award ten (10) scholarships annually.

The Crossroads Scholarship is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit based in White House, Tennessee. Every dollar donated to the scholarship goes to students at White House High School. The monies donated are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) tax-deductible.

Donations to the scholarship can be made by sending a check or gifting stock to:
