At Stay Positive News, we love highlighting one incredible local restaurant in our Local Food segment each week. But this week? We’re doing things a little differently.
Instead of shining the spotlight on just one favorite, we’re celebrating many — thanks to a deliciously creative initiative from the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce.
The Great Robertson County Food Crawl is happening now (February 16–22), and it’s your invitation to explore, taste, and support some of the best local dining spots our community has to offer.
The concept is simple — and fun.
Throughout the week, community members are encouraged to visit participating restaurants across Robertson County. When you arrive, just let your server know you’re there for the Great Robertson County Food Crawl. That’s it!
You’ll unlock special perks like:
Each restaurant is offering something a little different, making every stop a new surprise.
When you visit, be sure to scan the QR code posted at the host stand or on the door. That enters you for a chance to win gift cards from local restaurants. Want to increase your chances? Share your experience on social media and tag both the Chamber and the restaurant you’re visiting to earn additional entries.

Winter weekdays can be slower for restaurants, and this event is designed to bring energy — and customers — through their doors. It’s about more than great deals; it’s about community support.
Mandi Naylor, Community Events Manager for the Chamber, shares:
“The Food Crawl is all about highlighting Robertson County’s local restaurants, supporting small businesses, and giving our community a fun way to discover new favorite spots close to home.”
We love that. Because here at Stay Positive News, that’s exactly what we’re about too — celebrating the people and places that make Middle Tennessee special.
Maybe there’s a restaurant you’ve driven past a dozen times but never tried. Maybe there’s a favorite spot you haven’t visited in a while. The Food Crawl is the perfect excuse to mix it up.
Turn it into:
However you participate, you’re doing something meaningful: choosing local.
Events like this remind us that community support doesn’t always require a big gesture. Sometimes it’s as simple as choosing a locally owned restaurant for dinner and telling them you’re there to be part of something special.
So this week, instead of spotlighting just one Local Food favorite, we’re cheering on all of them.
Grab a friend. Bring your appetite. Scan the QR code. Post the photo. Tag the Chamber.
And most importantly — enjoy every bite.
Because when we support local, everybody wins.
