Community Invited to Farmstand Grand Opening Benefiting Local Child Battling Cancer
Neighbors for Grady: Farmstand Grand Opening to Benefit Local Little Boy Battling Cancer

A new farmstand opening in Cottontown is bringing the community together for a cause that matters.

On Saturday, June 20, Magnolia Bend Farm will celebrate the grand opening of its Magnolia Bend Farmstand while raising funds for 1-year-old Grady Smith, a local child currently battling neuroblastoma. Grady and his family live just down the road from the farm, and organizers say 100% of the proceeds from the event will go directly toward his treatment expenses.

The family-friendly event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Bend Farm, located at 273 Ben Albert Road in Cottontown.

Guests can enjoy free burgers and hot dogs, tractor hayrides, a bounce house, face painting, chick photo opportunities, a watermelon-eating contest, a Father's Day raffle, a silent auction, and an ice cream truck.

The celebration will also mark the official opening of the farmstand, which will feature pasture-raised pork and chicken, organic non-GMO eggs, and grass-fed, grass-finished beef.

Organizers encourage the community to come out, enjoy the festivities, and help support Grady and his family during this difficult journey. Whether through shopping, bidding in the silent auction, purchasing raffle tickets, making a donation, or simply spreading the word, every contribution makes a difference.

Those unable to attend can still support the fundraiser through Venmo at @magnoliabendfarm.
