Future Leaders Take the Stage: Gallatin Hosts National Civics Bee® Regional Competition

Get ready for an inspiring evening in downtown Gallatin as the next generation of leaders steps into the spotlight!

On Thursday, March 26, the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2026 National Civics Bee® Regional Competition—bringing together some of Middle Tennessee’s brightest middle school students for a night of big ideas and bold leadership.

Held at The Station, this exciting event will welcome top finalists from across Sumner County and the surrounding region. These students aren’t just competing—they’re sharing their vision for stronger, more connected communities.

Presented by Highpoint Health Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas, the National Civics Bee® is all about empowering young people to understand how their communities work—and how they can make a difference.

Attendees can expect an engaging, live competition where students showcase their civic knowledge, critical thinking skills, and creative solutions to real-world challenges. It’s the kind of event that reminds you the future is in good hands.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the competition kicking off at 6:30 PM. Whether you’re a proud parent, community supporter, or just someone who loves a good, feel-good story in the making—this is one event worth showing up for.

Because in Gallatin this week, leadership isn’t just being talked about… It’s being lived out—one student at a time.
