Gallatin is kicking off the new school year with a little friendly competition—and a whole lot of school spirit.

On Thursday, August 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Downtown Gallatin will come alive for the inaugural Gallatin Pep Rally on the Square, bringing students, families, educators and the community together for an energetic night of celebration.

Gallatin High School, Station Camp High School and Liberty Creek High School will face off in a Spirit Showdown, with each school bringing six student competitors ready to represent their school in a series of wild relay games and spirited challenges.

And yes, there’s a trophy on the line.

The coveted Gallatin Spirit Trophy will go home with the school that brings the most spirit, teamwork, and determination to the competition.

Three Schools. One Big Showdown.

The evening will feature 15-minute school showcases, giving each school a chance to show off what makes its student body special.

A DJ will keep the energy high throughout the evening, while the relay games allow six student representatives from each school to compete head-to-head.

For everyone else, the assignment is simple:

Show up. Cheer loud. Bring the energy.

Whether you’re cheering for the Green Wave, the Wolves, or the Bison, this is a chance to celebrate your school and the community you share.

The Gallatin Pep Rally is more than a competition. It’s a citywide kickoff to the new school year, celebrating school pride, student leadership, creativity and camaraderie.

Inspired by a 28-year pep rally tradition in Robertson County, Gallatin’s inaugural event is bringing that same sense of community, excitement and friendly competition to the square.

Bring the family. Bring your friends. Wear your school colors. Make a sign. Cheer for your favorite competitors. Or simply come downtown and enjoy watching three local schools battle it out in the friendliest way possible.
