Highpoint Health Achieves Healthgrades’ Top Honor for Prostate Care

Highpoint Health – Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is proud to announce that it has been named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Prostate Surgeries in 2026™ by Healthgrades, the nation’s leading independent evaluator of hospital quality. Healthgrades analyzed clinical performance across thousands of hospitals, and the results speak volumes: patients treated at hospitals receiving this award had, on average, a 60.1% lower risk of experiencing complications compared to those treated at non-award hospitals (2022–2024 data). This prestigious recognition places Highpoint Health – Sumner among an elite group of hospitals delivering exceptional outcomes for prostate surgery patients nationwide.

Additional Honors Highlight Highpoint Health – Sumner's Commitment to Excellence

In addition to this top national ranking, Highpoint Health – Sumner earned the Healthgrades 2026 Prostate Surgery Excellence Award™, placing it among the top 10% of hospitals in the nation for prostate surgery outcomes. Patients at these hospitals experienced a 63.6% lower risk of complications during their stay.

The hospital also received multiple Five-Star Ratings from Healthgrades, including:

· Five-Star Recipient for Transurethral Prostate Resection Surgery (2026) – Patients at five-star hospitals had an 83.4% lower risk of complications compared to one-star hospitals.

· Five-Star Recipient for Treatment of Diabetic Hospitalizations (2025–2026) – Patients at five-star hospitals had a 63.2% lower risk of complications compared to one-star hospitals.
