Unwrap Holiday Magic in Downtown Gallatin This Weekend

Looking for a joyful way to start the holiday season? Mark your calendar for Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16 — Tinsel & Treasures returns to downtown Gallatin.

“What makes Gallatin so magical? The historic features, the nicest people in America, and our deep ties to tradition,” says Kim Baker, CEO of the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce. “Christmas is a time for family, celebrations, and quite often, traditions. Gallatin’s are some of the richest around!”

Holiday Tinsel & Treasures, Gallatin’s beloved retail open house weekend, takes shoppers on a festive tour throughout the city. “This year, thanks to our presenting sponsors Jeannie Gregory State Farm and Primrose School of Gallatin, we celebrate fifty-four years of it helping kick off the holiday shopping season in Gallatin, Tennessee,” Kim shares.

What to Expect:

  • 32 local shops decked out for the season — from florists and boutiques to cafés and home décor. Enjoy holiday treats, festive tunes, and cheerful service.
  • Punch your way to prizes — collect punches at participating stops for chances to win the “Local Love” or “Grand Prize” shopping spree, with prizes valued at over $1,000!
  • Special markets and new shops — including Holiday on the Hill, HSP Makers Market, Rose Mont Christmas Market, Yuletide Market, and newcomers like Honey Rock Books & Café, J. Michael Co., and Kimfetti + Co.

“Shoppers can plan to enjoy more than just checking off their Christmas list,” Kim notes. “It’s about connecting with neighbors, celebrating our community, and immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the season.”

Tips for a Perfect Visit:

  • Arrive early for first dibs on deals, punch passes, and limited-edition “shop local” bags.
  • Make it a holiday stroll: explore a few shops, pause for a café break, and snap a photo or two.

Bring cash or small bills — local shops often have special bundles and personal touches you won’t find online.

Whether you’re hunting for gifts or soaking in the holiday spirit, Tinsel & Treasures is your chance to shop local, celebrate community, and step into the season with heart. Don’t miss out — grab your loved ones and head to downtown Gallatin this weekend!
