Love Heals in Many Ways

Love was definitely in the air this Valentine’s Day at TriStar Skyline Medical Center — and it came with carnations, decorations, and plenty of smiles.

The hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit hosted a special Valentine’s celebration for patients and their families, turning a day of therapy into something extra meaningful.

Patients Shared Love Advice with Hospital Staff

Every patient received a carnation, and the unit was filled with laughter, encouragement, and even a little love advice shared with staff.

“Love heals in many ways — and so does expert rehabilitation care,” shared Tory Daughrity, Director of Communications and Community Engagement at TriStar Skyline. “It was a fun reminder that encouragement and connection truly matter during recovery.”

Beyond the celebration, the heart of the unit’s work continues every day. An interdisciplinary rehabilitation team supports patients as they rebuild strength and independence through coordinated care, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and nursing support.

The exceptional care provided at Skyline is also earning national recognition. The rehabilitation unit was recently named among America’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2025 by Newsweek and Statista.

At Stay Positive News, we love highlighting moments where expert care meets compassion — proving that sometimes, a little love really does go a long way.
