Sometimes the sweetest stories come full circle, and this one certainly does.

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is celebrating a special family milestone that connects two memorable moments in the hospital's history.

In November 2023, TriStar NorthCrest proudly welcomed its 100th baby born that year, a significant achievement for the Women's Center team.

That baby was Brixley Layden, born on November 13, 2023, at 8:52 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 15.9 ounces and measuring 20.25 inches long.

Brixley's birth represented an important milestone for the hospital and a memorable occasion for her mother, Tia, and family.

Now, nearly three years later, the NorthCrest team is celebrating once again.

On July 5, 2026, Brixley officially became a big sister with the birth of Taylynn, who arrived at 9:32 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.

"We love being able to celebrate these meaningful moments with the families who choose TriStar NorthCrest for their care," said Ashley Davis, Director of Women's Services.

"To welcome a family's child as our 100th baby and then have the opportunity to care for that same family as they grow is incredibly special. It speaks to the trust our community places in us and the relationships we build with the families we serve."

The story of Brixley and Taylynn reflects the lasting connections formed between patients and caregivers at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center.

For the physicians, nurses, and staff who care for mothers and newborns, following a family's journey through multiple births is a rewarding reminder of the impact of compassionate, family-centered care.

As Brixley embraces her new role as a proud big sister, the NorthCrest team joins her family in celebrating the newest addition and wishing them many happy memories together.
