The South Haven Christian School Varsity Football Team claimed the NHFA Victory Bowl championship on Saturday, November 15, with a 40–26 victory over the Tri-State Crusaders. Led by Head Coach Michael Crawley, the Patriots delivered a complete team performance to secure the postseason title.

South Haven Christian jumped ahead early, taking an 18–6 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 32–12 by halftime. The Patriots’ offense continued its strong showing throughout the game, while the defense held firm in the final quarter to seal the win.

According to MaxPreps statistics, quarterback Wyatt Choate led the Patriots’ offense with an outstanding performance, completing 13 of 26 passes for 312 yards and five touchdowns. Choate’s leadership under center earned him the MVP Game Ball.

Junior standout Kade Atkinson delivered one of the most dynamic all-around performances of the day. Atkinson recorded 155 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns, added 123 rushing yards with one rushing touchdown, and contributed 11 tackles, including two tackles for loss on defense. His special teams impact also proved crucial, highlighted by a successful onside kick recovery that helped swing momentum. He received the Special Teams Game Ball.

On the defensive front, Sam Hill anchored the unit with several key stops, securing the Defensive Game Ball for his efforts.

In the trenches, Cameron Combs, who played exclusively at defensive nose tackle, provided critical pressure and run-stopping power throughout the contest. His dominance on the interior earned him the OL/DL Game Ball.

The Victory Bowl championship marks a strong finish to the Patriots’ season and adds another highlight to the program’s growing success on the gridiron.
