Supporting Girls Beyond the Selfie: #NoFilter Summit Set for Another Impactful Year

While registration has officially closed for this year's highly anticipated #NoFilter Girls Summit, the impact of the event is just beginning.

Hosted by the White House Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the White House Police Department, #NoFilter was created to equip, empower, enrich, and encourage young girls to focus on who they are—not who social media tells them they should be.

The summit brings together rising 5th through 12th grade girls from across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky for a day dedicated to building confidence, resilience, leadership, and self-worth. Through inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and meaningful conversations, participants are encouraged to embrace their authentic selves and discover the strength that comes from within.

Topics covered throughout the day include health and wellness, self-defense, creativity, social media safety, and self-esteem, all designed to help young women navigate today's challenges with confidence.

The overwhelming response to this year's event reflects a growing need for positive, empowering opportunities for young girls in our community. Organizers are grateful for the support of local businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and community members who help make the summit possible each year.

Although registration is now closed, there are still ways to support the mission of #NoFilter. Individuals and businesses interested in helping empower the next generation of young women are encouraged to reach out to the White House Area Chamber of Commerce. Contact Mandy Christenson at the Chamber to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, donations, and ways to get involved in future events.

In a culture often focused on filters, likes, and online validation, #NoFilter continues to remind girls of a powerful truth: their value isn't found on a screen—it's found in who they are.
