Friday night football is about more than the scoreboard. It’s about teamwork, determination, leadership, and the student-athletes who give their all for their schools and communities.
This fall, TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center has been celebrating local football talent through its Player of the Game program. Three recent honorees are giving Robertson County plenty of reasons to cheer!
The rivalry was fierce when Springfield High School and Greenbrier High School met under the Friday night lights on October 23. Springfield senior Braydon Trusty, #23, stood out during the highly anticipated matchup, earning Player of the Game honors from TriStar NorthCrest.

Kason Young earned the honor following East Robertson High School’s October 11 matchup. His selection highlights the teamwork, determination, and commitment required to compete each week and show up for teammates, both on and off the field.

For Greenbrier Bobcat Vinny Ward, leadership extends beyond game night. His strong work ethic and commitment to his team help inspire teammates to push harder, support one another, and strive for excellence throughout the Bobcat program.
From the Yellow Jackets to the Indians and Bobcats, Robertson County’s student-athletes embody the school spirit and community pride that make local sports special.
TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is proud to support these young athletes as they grow into the next generation of leaders. As a healthcare provider serving the community, TriStar NorthCrest is also a neighbor and a fan, cheering them on both on and off the field.
Congratulations to Braydon, Kason, and Vinny!
Robertson County, keep showing up, filling the stands, and supporting our local teams. When it comes to cheering for our hometown athletes, the whole community is on the same team.
