Dirt.
For some, it’s something to wipe away. For others, like White House native Brett Boston, it’s a canvas—something to shape, build, and bring to life.
“I always loved playing in the dirt,” Brett says, laughing as he scrolls to a childhood photo. “Check out that hair!”
That same kid—covered in dust and curiosity—grew into a business owner building something meaningful from the ground up.

A White House High School graduate, Brett’s journey has always been grounded in people.
Early on, he worked for local business owner Roger Denton—an experience that shaped everything.
“I learned how to work with people… and how to build something in a small community,” Brett says. “He met people where they were.”
At home, his Paw Paw instilled a simple but lasting mindset: do the right thing, even when it’s hard.
In his twenties, Brett faced a life-defining decision—walk toward a “once in a lifetime opportunity,” or stay close to care for his mom.
He chose family.
“You don’t get that time back,” he says.
Today, that same perspective shapes how he shows up as an uncle and mentor.
“I take that role seriously. Kids are always watching—you want to show them the right way.”

Before Bro Scapes, Brett spent six years building other companies—helping one grow from 2 to 15 employees, another to 22.
But something didn’t fit.
“I had the chance to travel the world… but it just wasn’t my culture.”
So he bet on his business dream.
He sold his house.
Quit his job.
Bought a truck with cash.
“Sold my house and took the dive—and we’ve been swimming ever since.”
At first, it was just Brett—running a bush hog and weed eater, taking any job he could get.

The early days weren’t easy.
“They wouldn’t even let me bid on stuff,” he says. “It took about six months to change their mind.”
But Brett found his lane—stepping in when others didn’t deliver.
“It’s always been that we get an opportunity to step in when someone didn’t hit the mark—and we found a way to hit the mark.”
One job at a time, trust grew.
“This guy’s legit—we’ll give him a chance.”
And eventually:
“I just know you’ll get the right person to do it.”
For Brett, that’s everything.
“Connections are crucial.”
Now two years in, Bro Scapes has grown into a team of seven—often taking on jobs much larger companies handle.
No shortcuts. No gimmicks.
Just showing up and doing it right.
When he’s not on a job site, Brett is outdoors—most often duck hunting at his cabin in Arkansas.

“Growing up, I loved baseball. Now? Duck hunting—that’s me.”
And if you’ve met Brett, you’ve probably met Rip—his 5-year-old golden lab, better known as “Smiley.”
“People don’t forget that dog,” he laughs.
In fact, Rip inspired Bro Scapes’ logo.
With a smiling dog for a co-pilot and a job doused in fresh air, it’s no wonder Brett stays grounded.
Well, at least until the dirt makes him leap. Then, rest assured, he's got the faith and gumption to do just that.
