At Stay Positive News, we love shining the spotlight on students who are making a difference both inside and outside the classroom — and this week, we’re proud to celebrate Gracie Marion, a senior at White House High School.
Gracie is the kind of student who doesn’t just participate — she leads.
Throughout her four years of high school, she has immersed herself in agricultural studies, building both knowledge and hands-on experience in the classroom and greenhouse. As an active member of FFA, Gracie has discovered a true passion for working with plants and agriculture. Her dedication recently earned her the prestigious State Degree with FFA — one of the organization’s highest honors.
Beyond FFA, Gracie’s resume reflects both excellence and balance. She maintains an impressive 4.0 GPA while participating in FCA, Lady Devils Basketball, National Honor Society, BETA Club, and Sumner County Bass Fishing. On the water, she has made waves — placing in the top 10 in competition and even reeling in “big fish” honors.

Leadership has also been a defining part of Gracie’s high school journey. She has served as an FFA officer for two years and currently holds the role of Vice President, demonstrating her commitment not just to personal success, but to serving her peers and strengthening the program she loves.
When asked about the teacher who has made the biggest impact on her journey, Gracie doesn’t hesitate: Mrs. Green. Whether it’s a laugh on a tough day or words of encouragement before a big moment, Mrs. Green has been a steady source of support, always ready with a joke — or a hug. It’s a reminder that behind every successful student is often a teacher who believes in them.
Gracie Marion embodies what it means to grow where you’re planted — academically, athletically, and personally. With her work ethic, heart for leadership, and passion for agriculture, there’s no doubt her future is bright.
Congratulations, Gracie! Your community is cheering you on.
Editor's Note: Gracie embodies positivity. If you wonder why and how, next time you see her, just ask. She would love to share with you. My favorite conversations with her are pop-in moments at our favorite coffee spot. Thank you, Gracie, for living your life out loud and with that gorgeous 1,000-watt smile shining brightly.
